Tripura Education Department Launches Major Initiatives for Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

The Tripura School Education Department has unveiled a set of extensive initiatives aimed at marking the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav across the state’s schools. Officials said the programmes will be rolled out in a coordinated manner to involve students, teachers and school administrators.

While detailed plans are being finalised, the department indicated that activities will focus on patriotic education, cultural showcases and student‑led projects that reflect the spirit of India’s 75‑year independence celebration. The initiatives are expected to be implemented in both government and private schools during the Mahotsav period.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, marking 75 years of independence, is being observed nationwide, and Tripura’s education authorities are positioning schools as key venues for fostering national pride and historical awareness among the younger generation.
