Tripura CM urges preservation of tradition and values for future generations

The Chief Minister of Tripura recently highlighted the importance of protecting the state’s cultural heritage and ethical values for the benefit of future generations. In a public address, he stressed that traditions form the backbone of societal cohesion and must be handed down intact.
He pointed out that Tripura’s diverse customs, festivals, and community practices have long contributed to its unique identity, and any erosion could weaken social fabric.
The leader called on educational institutions, community groups and policymakers to integrate heritage preservation into curricula and development plans, ensuring that younger citizens grow up with a deep respect for their roots.
