Tripura CM Unveils Vision for Modern Cities and Villages

At a press conference in Agartala, Tripura’s Chief Minister unveiled a detailed strategy to modernise both urban and rural areas across the state. The plan prioritises infrastructure upgrades, enhanced connectivity, and the adoption of smart utilities.

Key elements include the widening of major roads, rollout of high‑speed digital networks, deployment of renewable energy solutions, systematic waste management, and the introduction of efficient public transport systems.

The CM highlighted the importance of technology integration and community involvement, stressing that inclusive development will be central to the initiative’s success.

Implementation is slated to begin in the next fiscal year, with the state earmarking a budget and seeking central assistance to bring the vision to fruition.
