Chief Minister Manik Saha praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the prime minister’s focus is on the welfare of people and the development of the nation.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha publicly praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that the prime minister’s agenda is centered on the well‑being of citizens and the country’s development.
Saha made the remarks during a press interaction in the state capital, highlighting recent infrastructure projects and social schemes launched under the central government. He said that Modi’s policies have directly benefited the people of Tripura, especially in areas such as rural electrification, road connectivity and health services.
The statement reflects the continued political alignment between the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party at the centre and the state government in Tripura. Saha urged other state leaders to emulate the development‑focused approach he attributes to the prime minister.
No specific new initiative was announced in the remarks; the focus was on acknowledging Modi’s perceived commitment to inclusive growth across India.
