Tripura’s Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has confirmed that talks with the central government on the Tiprasa Accord will commence soon, aiming to resolve the long‑standing issue.

Dr Manik Saha, the Chief Minister of Tripura, assured that the state will initiate early talks with the Centre regarding the Tiprasa Accord.

The CM stated that the discussions will begin promptly and that Tripura is ready to cooperate with the central government to reach a mutually acceptable solution.

The Tiprasa community has long demanded recognition and special status, a demand that has kept the accord in limbo for decades.

Saha added that the government will keep the public informed about progress and expects a positive response from the central authorities.
