Tripura CM Announces 3% DA & DR Hike, HRA Raised to 10% for State Employees

The Tripura government has increased Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief by 3% and raised House Rent Allowance to 10% for all state employees, announced Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha.
On Thursday, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha announced a salary adjustment for Tripura’s government employees. The Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) will see a 3% increase, while the House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be raised to 10% of the basic pay.
The decision aims to improve the purchasing power of public servants amid rising inflation. The hike will apply to all categories of state employees, including clerical, technical and supervisory staff.
The announcement was made during a press briefing at the State Secretariat in Agartala. The CM emphasized that the move reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring fair compensation for its workforce.
