An air ambulance originating from Tripura was forced to make an emergency landing in Dhaka after a door opened in flight. Reports indicate that the patient being transported has reportedly died.

An air ambulance service operating out of Tripura faced a critical incident when it was compelled to make an emergency landing in Dhaka. The unscheduled stop was necessitated after a door on the aircraft reportedly opened during the flight, posing a safety risk to the occupants.

The incident occurred while the aircraft was in transit, prompting the crew to divert to the nearest suitable airport in Bangladesh. Emergency protocols were likely initiated upon landing to secure the aircraft and attend to the passengers on board.

Tragically, reports emerging from the scene indicate that the patient being transported in the medical evacuation flight has died. The cause of death and its relation to the in-flight incident are not yet confirmed in the initial reports.

Authorities in both India and Bangladesh are expected to investigate the mechanical failure that led to the door opening. The air ambulance service is currently under scrutiny as details regarding the flight's origin and destination are being verified.
