Traffic diversion on Bhopal-Indore highway for Kubereshwar Dham pilgrimage, Aug 23-25

From August 23 to 25, heavy vehicles will be rerouted on the Bhopal‑Indore highway as authorities manage traffic for the Kubereshwar Dham pilgrimage in Sehore.
Sehore will see a three‑day traffic diversion from August 23 to 25 as the annual Kubereshwar Dham pilgrimage draws large crowds. The state’s traffic police have ordered heavy‑vehicle movement to be halted on the Bhopal‑Indore highway during this period and redirected through alternate routes.
All trucks and other heavy conveyances are required to use the designated detour corridors, while the main carriageway will remain open for passenger cars and other light vehicles. The diversion plan also outlines revised routes for private and public passenger transport to avoid congestion near the pilgrimage site.
