On Monday evening, a tractor‑trailer carrying devotees heading to perform a water abhishek at Shri Dhondhistan Shiv Temple in Muthia village, Chhapra, collided with a dilapidated power pole.
The impact broke the pole, and a person was crushed beneath the wreckage, dying at the scene.
