The Trinamool Congress announced it will support the Chief Justice of India, saying the whole country is rallying behind him.
The All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) publicly declared its intention to stand behind the Chief Justice of India (CJP). In a statement released during a party meeting, senior leaders quoted the slogan “10 ko poora desh aa raha hai,” indicating that the entire nation is converging in support of the judiciary’s head.
The party’s announcement comes amid ongoing debates over judicial independence and recent court proceedings that have drawn political attention. TMC officials emphasized that safeguarding the CJP’s position is essential for upholding constitutional values.
By voicing unequivocal support, the TMC aims to align itself with broader public sentiment that favors a strong and impartial judiciary. The statement did not reference any specific case or individual beyond the CJP, focusing solely on the party’s commitment to the institution.
