The Rajasthan Public Service Commission held a joint competitive re‑exam for Sub‑Inspector posts in Bikaner under tight security, issuing metal‑button shirts and shutting cyber cafés within a 300‑metre radius.
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducted a joint competitive re‑examination for Sub‑Inspector (SI) vacancies, designated under the UP‑Inspector‑Platoon Commander cadre, across 47 centres in Bikaner district. A total of 13,584 candidates appeared for the test under the commission's supervision.
Security arrangements were markedly stringent. Candidates were required to wear specially provided shirts fitted with metal buttons, and the exam hall perimeter was monitored by armed personnel. In addition, all cyber cafés operating within a 300‑metre radius of the venues were ordered to shut down for the duration of the examination to prevent any electronic malpractice.
The heightened measures ensured that the examination proceeded without any reported incidents. RPSC officials stated that the steps were taken to uphold the integrity of the recruitment process and to guarantee a level playing field for all aspirants.
