Theaters in Andhra Pradesh have increased ticket prices for the film Jailer 2, adding Rs 50 at single‑screen venues and Rs 75 at multiplexes.
The exhibition of the film Jailer 2 in Andhra Pradesh has seen a uniform price revision across the state. Cinema owners announced an additional charge of Rs 50 per ticket at single‑screen theatres, while multiplex operators have raised their rates by Rs 75.
The differential increase reflects the varied cost structures of single‑screen venues and multiplex chains, with the latter typically offering enhanced viewing experiences and amenities. The new pricing is effective from today and applies to all scheduled shows of Jailer 2 in the region.
Industry observers note that such adjustments are common when a high‑profile release draws strong audience demand, allowing exhibitors to balance seat occupancy with revenue goals. No official statement from the film’s producers has been released regarding the hike.
