Three lakh worth gold jewellery stolen from Samastipur jeweller’s shop by two thieves

Samastipur district’s Rosda locality witnessed a robbery at a local jewellery store on Tuesday. Two individuals on a motorcycle approached the shop, and one of them pretended to show a child's bracelet as a pretext to enter the premises. Once inside, the intruder seized a box containing gold ornaments weighing around 20 grams, which are estimated to be worth about three lakh rupees, and fled on the bike. When shop staff attempted to stop them, the thieves brandished a weapon and threatened the employees before escaping. Police have registered a case and are pursuing leads to identify and apprehend the suspects.
