Three killed in road accident while heading to Rakhi invitation in Madhya Pradesh

A road accident in a village of Madhya Pradesh resulted in the deaths of three male relatives – a brother, his nephew and their uncle – as they were on their way to a sister's house to invite her for the upcoming Rakhi festival. The vehicle reportedly lost control and collided with a roadside obstacle, killing all occupants on the spot.

The crash occurred roughly five kilometres away from the sister’s residence, where the trio had planned to deliver the traditional Rakhi invitation. Emergency services were summoned, but the severity of the injuries proved fatal.

The incident has plunged the local community into mourning, with villagers gathering to pay respects and express shock over the tragedy that struck during a festive season.

Police have opened an inquiry to ascertain the exact cause of the accident and to determine whether any traffic violations contributed to the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
