Three Houses Burned Amid Fresh Violence in Manipur’s Kailenjang Village

Three houses in Kailenjang village of Manipur were set on fire during a fresh episode of violence, police officials confirmed. The incident took place early this week, with local residents reporting the blaze to authorities. No injuries have been reported yet, and the fire was contained before it spread to neighboring properties.

Investigators are probing the motive behind the arson, which appears to be part of a broader pattern of unrest in the region. Local leaders have called for calm and urged residents to cooperate with security forces.

The Manipur Police have increased patrols in the area and are working to identify the perpetrators. The incident has raised concerns about escalating tensions in the village and the surrounding districts.
