The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police has successfully arrested three people from Punjab as part of an investigation into an extortion case. The accused had allegedly threatened the founder and Managing Director of a company that manufactures defense equipment for security forces and the army.
The demand was for a sum of ₹10 crore. The perpetrators reportedly used the names of Khalistan elements and gangsters to intimidate the victim, Sahil Luthra, into complying with their demands. The police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
