The suspects were apprehended near the school premises in the district after the victim’s family reported the incident to the authorities.
Police officials said the kidnapping was premeditated and the accused had threatened the teacher with violence if the ransom was not paid.
The arrested men are now under investigation and could face charges under the Indian Penal Code and the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act.
