Three individuals were detained in Hisar after authorities discovered they used forged medical certificates to secure driving licences.
The Haryana Police arrested three men in Hisar after discovering that they had used forged medical certificates to obtain driving licences.
The suspects were detained at the local traffic police station and are currently being questioned by investigators.
Authorities say the fake documents were submitted during the licence application process, which requires a valid medical certificate as proof of fitness to drive.
The police are probing whether the documents were produced by a private forgery ring or if the applicants forged them themselves.
The case underscores the state's ongoing efforts to curb fraudulent practices in the licensing system.
