Third child feared missing after Tunga River sweep in Karnataka

A third minor has been reported missing after being carried away by the swift currents of the Tunga River in Karnataka, making it the third such incident recorded within a span of four days. Local residents said the child was last seen near the riverbank before the water surged.
Authorities from the district administration and the police have launched a coordinated search operation, deploying boats and volunteers to scour the river and its adjoining banks. Rescue teams are also using sonar equipment to detect any signs of the missing child.
