Thieves break into Jalandhar sweet shop, steal ₹92,000 cash and DBR

In Jalandhar, Punjab, thieves ripped off a sweet shop's shutter and walked away with cash worth about ₹92,000 along with DBR items.
Police in Jalandhar reported that a sweet shop on a busy market street was targeted early on Tuesday. The perpetrators forced open the shop's shutter, entered the premises and seized cash amounting to roughly ₹92,000.
Along with the cash, the thieves also took items identified as DBR, although the exact nature of the product was not clarified by officials. The shop owner discovered the theft after closing the shop and immediately lodged a complaint with local authorities.
Investigators have begun canvassing the area for witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage to identify the suspects. The case has been registered under the city’s criminal docket, and police have appealed to the public for any information that could lead to an arrest.
