The Paradise: Nani’s Film Loses 47% by Day 7, Box Office Underwhelms

The Telugu-language film The Paradise, featuring Nani in the lead role, opened in theatres across India on 8 September 2023. By its seventh day of release, the film has accumulated a worldwide gross that is 47% below the projected target, as reported by IMDb’s box‑office tracker. The shortfall places the movie among the under‑performing releases of the year, with distributors noting that the film failed to attract the expected audience turnout. Industry analysts attribute the decline to a combination of stiff competition from other releases and a lukewarm response to the film’s marketing campaign. Despite the setback, Nani’s team has indicated that they will continue to promote the movie through additional screenings and digital platforms, hoping to recover some of the lost revenue.
