On the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, I had the opportunity to participate in the prestigious program organized at the Gujarat Vidyapeeth established by Bapu in 1920.
In the presence of His Excellency the Governor Shri Acharya Devvratji and the Vice-Chancellor of the Rajya Sabha Shri Harivanshji, I paid my respects to ji Bapu by singing the collective song 'Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye' and presented the cleanliness trophy to the winner of the cleanliness competition, the Vidyashakha.
On this occasion, I visited the Gujarat Vidyapeeth Khadi Store along with His Excellency the Governor Shri Acharya Devvratji and the Honorable Vice-Chancellor Shri Harivanshji.
Khadi is not just a clothing, but a symbol of indigenous thought, self-reliance, and self-reliance. Khadi has a significant role in spreading Bapu's indigenous thoughts to the masses.
