The Chainsmokers Call It Quits Ahead of Planned India Tour in December

The American electronic‑pop duo The Chainsmokers confirmed on social media that they are ending their partnership, citing personal and creative reasons. The announcement comes just weeks before the pair is set to commence a multi‑city tour across India in December. Fans across the country expressed surprise, noting the timing coincides with the group’s first major Indian performances in years. The tour, which includes stops in major metros such as Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, was expected to draw large crowds and boost the live‑music scene. In the same statement, the duo hinted at new music releases later this year, suggesting that while the partnership ends, individual projects may continue to emerge on the global stage.
