A 13-year-old boy lost his life after a tempo collided with a wall on a narrow road near Thoothur in Kanyakumari district this morning.
The boy had just boarded a school van with his sister and was walking to school when the accident occurred. The tempo’s impact crushed the boy at the scene, and he died on the spot.
The body is being kept at the Government Hospital for post-mortem examination. Police have arrested the tempo driver and are interrogating him.
