Telangana’s Rice Reserves Set to Sustain Supply Until September 2027

Telangana has accumulated rice stocks sufficient to cover demand until September 2027. The state’s agriculture department reports that the reserve was built over the past years through strategic procurement and storage. This move is part of the government’s food security strategy to safeguard farmers and consumers alike. Officials say the stockpile will help buffer against price volatility and supply disruptions. The state plans to maintain and monitor the reserves to ensure they remain viable until the projected date.
