Telangana state has achieved 71.34% digitisation of SIR enumeration forms, with Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district topping the list.
Telangana’s government has announced that 71.34% of its SIR enumeration forms have been digitised, marking a significant step in the state’s e-governance initiatives.
The SIR (State Income Register) forms, used for collecting demographic and economic data, were traditionally processed on paper. The digitisation effort, carried out by the state’s IT department, aims to streamline data collection and improve accuracy.
Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district emerged as the top performer, achieving the highest percentage of digitised forms among all districts in Telangana.
The move is expected to enhance service delivery, reduce processing time, and provide a reliable digital record for future planning.
