Government staff in Telangana walked out to demand action on the Pay Revision Commission, Employee Health Scheme and delayed deputation allowances.

Earlier this week, government employees across Telangana staged a coordinated protest, citing frustration over the stalled Pay Revision Commission (PRC), unresolved issues in the Employee Health Scheme (EHS) and the delay in granting deputation allowances (DAs). The staff gathered outside key administrative offices, holding placards and voicing their concerns through chants and speeches.

Union representatives said the pending PRC recommendations have left many employees uncertain about salary revisions, while the EHS remains ineffective for a large segment of the workforce. They also highlighted that the backlog of deputation allowances is affecting morale and financial stability for those awaiting transfers.

State officials acknowledged the grievances and promised to review the pending matters in an upcoming meeting. However, they urged the employees to resume work while the administration works on a resolution. The protest remained peaceful, with no reports of clashes or arrests.

The demonstration underscores growing discontent among public servants in the state, reflecting broader concerns about timely policy implementation and employee welfare.
