Telangana Announces Optional Holiday for Students on Oct 26

The state government of Telangana has declared October 26 as an optional holiday for students, allowing educational institutions to decide whether to observe the day off. The announcement, made by the education department, aims to provide flexibility for schools and colleges in scheduling their academic calendar. The decision does not affect official government office hours, which will remain operational as usual. Parents and students are advised to check with their respective schools for specific arrangements. The move is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to support the educational sector during the academic year.
