Bihar CM Tejashwi Yadav demanded police probe the EO murder case from the angle of the victim’s wife’s claim that an LJP MLA demanded ₹25‑50 lakh extortion, and questioned why no FIR has been filed against the MLA.
The murder of an Executive Officer (EO) has drawn renewed scrutiny as Bihar Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav addressed the Magadh Range Inspector General, demanding a fresh look at the case. Yadav cited the wife of the deceased, who alleges that an LJP MLA from the RV constituency demanded an extortion sum of ₹25 lakh to ₹50 lakh before the EO was killed. He asked why the police have not investigated the matter from this angle. The CM further questioned why no formal FIR has been registered against the alleged MLA. The police have yet to respond publicly to Yadav’s queries, but the incident underscores the political pressure surrounding the investigation.
