Bihar leader Tejashwi Yadav accused the NDA government of withholding flood relief funds, alleging that money earmarked for Prime Minister Modi was diverted, while victims remain unattended.

Bihar is grappling with severe flooding that has displaced thousands and damaged infrastructure across several districts. The crisis has intensified political scrutiny over the allocation and distribution of relief funds.

In a recent press conference, opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav slammed the NDA government for its handling of the disaster. He claimed that the central administration has kept the funds intended for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s projects, leaving flood victims without necessary aid.

Yadav further alleged that the money earmarked for relief was diverted to other purposes, questioning the transparency and efficiency of the government's response. He urged the government to release the withheld funds immediately and to prioritize the needs of affected communities.

The government has yet to issue a formal response to Yadav’s accusations. Meanwhile, local authorities are continuing relief operations, but the political debate has cast a spotlight on the management of disaster relief in the state.
