Teen Girl Gang-Raped Near Kalkaji Temple in Delhi While Visiting for Darshan

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped near the Kalkaji Temple in southeast Delhi on Monday night while she had come to offer prayers. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
On Monday night, a 17-year-old girl visited the Kalkaji Temple in Delhi’s southeast district to offer prayers. While returning from the temple premises, she was surrounded and assaulted by a group of men near the shrine.
The victim was rescued by passersby and taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Police were informed promptly and an FIR has been lodged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
Officials said they are examining the scene, collecting forensic evidence and reviewing available CCTV footage from the area to identify the perpetrators. No arrests have been made so far.
The girl is reported to be in stable condition and receiving counseling and medical care. Authorities have appealed to anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist the investigation.
