TCS calls for faster border connectivity and stronger security in Arunachal

Tata Consultancy Services has appealed to the government to speed up infrastructure linking border areas and to enhance security measures in Arunachal Pradesh.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has formally requested the central and state governments to accelerate the development of road and communication links that connect remote border regions of Arunachal Pradesh. The company highlighted that improved connectivity is essential for its operations as well as for the broader economic integration of the northeastern frontier.
In its appeal, TCS emphasized that faster border connectivity must be paired with robust security arrangements to safeguard both civilian populations and critical infrastructure. The firm argued that enhanced security would not only protect its own projects but also contribute to national defence readiness along the sensitive frontier.
The Arunachal Times reported the request, noting that officials have not yet disclosed a detailed response. TCS said it will continue to engage with policymakers to ensure that infrastructure and security upgrades are aligned with the region’s development goals.
If acted upon, the proposed measures could reduce travel times, lower logistics costs, and improve emergency response capabilities across the state’s high‑altitude districts.
