The vacancies are aimed at augmenting the state’s medical workforce and are open to FMGs who have completed their medical degrees abroad and hold valid registration certificates.
Applicants are required to submit their credentials through the state’s online portal, where they must provide proof of degree, registration, and a valid passport. The selection process will consider academic performance, language proficiency, and relevant clinical experience.
The internships will be allocated across district hospitals and primary health centers, allowing FMGs to gain exposure to a variety of medical settings. The program is part of Tamil Nadu’s broader strategy to address doctor shortages and improve patient care across the state.
