Political leader Vijay announced that each Tamil Nadu MLA will receive a car and a cash allowance of one lakh rupees.
Political figure Vijay disclosed a new benefit package for members of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. The package comprises the provision of a personal automobile for each MLA along with a cash allowance of one lakh rupees.
The announcement specifies that the car and the monetary grant are intended to support legislators in performing their duties, though no further details on the type of vehicle or disbursement timeline were provided.
Analysts note that such material incentives could affect the resources available to state lawmakers and may have implications for intra‑party dynamics ahead of upcoming legislative sessions.
The scheme was communicated through a public statement, and officials are expected to outline implementation procedures in the coming days.
