Tamil Nadu Gen‑Z Protest Calls for Electoral Reforms

A collective of Gen‑Z voters gathered in Tamil Nadu to protest against perceived shortcomings in the electoral process. The demonstrators, who refer to themselves as the 'Cockroaches', demanded reforms that would make voting more transparent and accessible to young citizens. They called for the introduction of digital voter identification, stricter enforcement of campaign finance rules, and greater public scrutiny of election officials. While authorities have yet to issue a formal response, the protest underscores a growing trend of youth engagement in political reform across India.
