The Election Commission of India has announced a 6 PM deadline for campaigning activities in Tamil Nadu ahead of the upcoming elections.
The Election Commission of India has mandated that all political campaigning in Tamil Nadu must conclude by 6 PM today. This decision comes as part of the electoral process to ensure fair and orderly elections.
The directive applies to all forms of campaigning, including public meetings, rallies, and roadshows across the state. Political parties and candidates are expected to adhere strictly to this timeline.
This measure is a standard procedure in Indian elections to allow voters time for reflection and to prevent last-minute influences before they cast their ballots.
