The Tamil Nadu Education Department has issued an official update on school operations for October 23, detailing which districts will observe a holiday and which will remain open. The announcement comes as part of the state’s routine monitoring of academic calendars and local events.
According to the circular, districts hosting board examinations or other academic activities will keep schools open, while the remaining districts will observe a full-day holiday. Parents and students are advised to check the district-specific schedule before making travel or study plans.
