The Jammu & Kashmir chapter of the Tourism and Adventure Association of India (TAAI) has announced its newly elected executive team for the 2026‑28 period.
The Jammu & Kashmir chapter of the Tourism and Adventure Association of India (TAAI) has formally announced the members of its new executive committee for the 2026‑28 term. The election, conducted in accordance with the association’s constitution, concluded with the selection of a president, vice‑president, secretary, treasurer and several other office‑bearers.
The newly elected team is expected to steer the chapter’s activities over the next two years, focusing on promoting tourism, adventure sports and related training programmes across the region. Officials indicated that the agenda will include expanding adventure tourism infrastructure, organizing capacity‑building workshops for local guides, and collaborating with state authorities on sustainable tourism initiatives.
TAAI’s central office welcomed the outcome, stating that the fresh leadership will help align the chapter’s objectives with the national body’s strategic goals. The association plans to monitor the chapter’s progress through periodic reviews and will provide technical and financial support where needed.
