Saurashtra Railway (SWR) has set a December deadline for the overhaul of Curchorem station, aiming to upgrade facilities and improve passenger experience.
Saurashtra Railway (SWR), a zone of Indian Railways, announced that the revamp of Curchorem station in Goa will be completed by December.
The project, part of SWR’s broader network upgrade plan, will see the extension of platforms, installation of modern waiting areas, digital information displays and improved accessibility features.
SWR officials said the work is progressing on schedule and that the December target will allow the station to handle increased passenger traffic during the upcoming holiday season.
The revamp is expected to enhance safety, comfort and operational efficiency for commuters traveling to and from the coastal town.
