The Swachhata Rath Yatra has been launched in North Tripura, aiming to encourage residents to segregate waste and improve cleanliness.
The Swachhata Rath Yatra was inaugurated in North Tripura, with local officials and community members gathering to mark the start of the campaign. The event is part of a broader effort to promote environmental stewardship across the district.
The primary focus of the yatra is to educate residents about the importance of waste segregation at source. Participants will receive guidance on separating recyclables, organics, and non‑recyclables, as well as tips for reducing overall waste generation.
By raising awareness and providing practical tools, the initiative seeks to reduce the burden on landfills, improve public health, and foster a cleaner, more sustainable environment for all North Tripura residents.
