Production house SVC has obtained the theatrical distribution rights for the Telugu-speaking regions for the upcoming film Ramayana.
SVC, a prominent production house, has secured the theatrical distribution rights for the Telugu-speaking states for the forthcoming film Ramayana. The deal, announced earlier this week, will allow the film to be screened across theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The acquisition is part of SVC’s strategy to expand its presence in regional cinema markets.
The rights cover a wide network of multiplexes and single-screen theatres, ensuring a broad reach for the film’s release. SVC’s executive team highlighted the importance of regional distribution in reaching diverse audiences. The company plans to launch a targeted marketing campaign in Telugu to promote the film.
Industry analysts view the move as a sign of growing competition among distributors for high-profile releases. The agreement is expected to boost the film’s visibility and box‑office potential in the region. SVC’s partnership with local theatre chains aims to maximize audience engagement and revenue generation.
The film Ramayana, directed by a noted filmmaker, is slated for release in the coming months. With the theatrical rights secured, SVC is poised to deliver a wide theatrical run across the Telugu states.
