Suriya’s ‘Scene’ Tops Tamil Nadu Box Office; Kerala Sees Drop on Day 2

The Tamil film 'Scene', featuring superstar Suriya, has taken the top spot at the Tamil Nadu box office on its first day of release. According to reports from The Week, the movie outperformed other releases in the state, drawing large crowds to theatres across Chennai and other major cities. In contrast, the film’s performance in Kerala saw a noticeable decline by the second day, with collections dropping sharply compared to the opening day. Industry analysts suggest that regional preferences and competition from local releases may have contributed to the downturn in Kerala. Despite the dip in Kerala, 'Scene' is expected to maintain strong earnings in Tamil Nadu as the weekend approaches, with distributors optimistic about continued audience interest.
