Supreme Court Collegium Recommends Seven New Judges for MP High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium, the body responsible for recommending judicial appointments, approved the names of seven lawyers for appointment as judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. This decision was made during a meeting held on October 26th. The recommendations are now subject to approval from the central government and a formal notification from the President of India. Once these steps are completed, the number of judges in the Madhya Pradesh High Court will increase from 38 to 45.
