Sundar C Envisions AI‑Driven Films Without Traditional Shooting

Director Sundar C, known for his work in Tamil cinema, recently stated that artificial intelligence could transform the way films are made. He explained that AI technologies could generate realistic scenes, dialogues and visual effects, potentially eliminating the need for traditional on‑location shooting. The idea builds on advances in deep learning and computer‑generated imagery that are already being used for post‑production work. While Sundar C is not the first filmmaker to explore AI in cinema, his comments highlight a growing interest in using technology to streamline production processes. Industry observers note that such developments could reduce costs and time for filmmakers, though practical implementation remains a challenge.
