Students protest on Misrod streets over alleged teacher assault and threats

Students of a school in Misrod walked out and staged a three‑hour street protest, accusing a teacher of physical assault, threats of failure and inappropriate remarks.
A group of students from a school in Misrod, Madhya Pradesh, left their classrooms and took to the streets, staging a protest that lasted about three hours. The demonstration was triggered by accusations that a teacher had physically assaulted them, threatened to fail them, and made objectionable comments.
The students marched along the main road, holding placards and chanting slogans demanding immediate action against the teacher. Witnesses said the protest remained peaceful, with no reports of violence or arrests during the demonstration.
Following the three‑hour sit‑in, the local education department intervened and removed the accused teacher from duty pending further inquiry. Authorities also promised a formal investigation into the allegations to ensure the safety and rights of the students.
