Mumbai, August 25 – Staywell.Health, a platform that leverages artificial intelligence to distribute health insurance, confirmed the successful closure of a new investment round. The company was founded by Arun Ramamurthy, Arup Chatterjee and Atul Mehta and is headquartered in Mumbai.
The round was led by Equanimity Investments, which was joined by a select group of undisclosed investors. While the exact amount was not disclosed, the funding is earmarked for building an AI‑native distribution platform that can streamline policy issuance, underwriting and claims handling.
Industry analysts note that the infusion of capital comes at a time when digital health insurance solutions are gaining traction in India. Staywell.Health aims to use the new resources to expand its technology stack, onboard more insurers and reach a broader customer base across the country.
