The Board has named the star pacer in the squad for the upcoming Tests against New Zealand, marking his return after a period out of the side.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that a leading Indian fast bowler has been added to the country's Test squad for the forthcoming series against New Zealand. The selection signals the bowler's re‑entry into the longest format after a spell away from the side.
Team management cited the bowler's experience and skill set as key reasons for his recall, aiming to bolster the pace attack ahead of the two‑match series. The decision follows the Board's routine squad announcements and aligns with preparations for the home fixtures.
The upcoming Tests are scheduled to begin later this month, with venues yet to be disclosed by the Board. Fans and analysts will be watching closely to see how the pacer's inclusion influences India's strategy against a competitive New Zealand side.
