Stampede in Ujjain

The city of Ujjain witnessed a massive influx of devotees on the third Monday of the month of Sawan, leading to a stampede. The crowd was gathered to visit the Mahakal temple and the Nagachandreshwar temple, which was recently opened. The situation became chaotic, resulting in injuries to several people. The Indore-Ujjain route was also heavily congested due to the large number of devotees traveling from Indore. The devotees were eager to offer their prayers at the revered temples, but the huge crowd led to the unfortunate incident.
