A group of female students at Sidhi Girls College received six alleged obscene video clips that appeared to be sent from the mobile number of a sports teacher. The incident was reported after several students complained about the content being shared in their private chat group.
The teacher whose number was used in the messages has denied any involvement, stating that his device was compromised and the messages were sent without his knowledge. He has lodged a complaint alleging that his phone was hacked.
Following the students' grievances, the college administration has launched an internal investigation to verify the source of the messages and to take appropriate action against any wrongdoing. The authorities are also coordinating with local law enforcement to explore potential criminal aspects of the case.
The incident has raised concerns about digital privacy and the misuse of personal contact details within educational institutions, prompting calls for stricter safeguards against cyber harassment.
No further details have been released as the probe continues, and the college has assured students that it will address the matter promptly and transparently.
