Speeding Toyota Pickup Hits Two Women and Motorcycles in Jalandhar, Two Critical

Police said a Toyota pickup travelling at high speed struck two young women and a group of motorcycles on a busy stretch in Jalandhar on Saturday. The impact threw the women onto the road and caused several bikes to overturn, injuring the riders. Emergency services rushed to the scene and the two women were immediately taken to a nearby hospital where they remain in critical condition. Several motorcyclists suffered minor injuries and were also transported to medical facilities. An FIR has been lodged and traffic police have launched an investigation into possible violations of speed limits and reckless driving.
